Oh Husband...

So, Trevor has been working in Colorado for the last two weeks, and he got home about midnight last night. He came home and told me that he had a surprise. I was hopeful that it might be flowers. I have only gotten flowers once since we have been together... Well it was not flowers. Trevor went to his suitcase, and what was my surprise. A FISHING REEL!!!!!!!! That's right, a stinkin fishing reel! Oh husband, I love you!

Aunt and Uncle

Trevor and I love our nephews and our niece to pieces! We love spoiling them! Since we don't have kids ourselves we try and do what we can for them. Nobi and Conner were in town this week from Oklahoma on their spring break. We only had a chance to spend a couple hours with them while they were here, but it was a fun-filled two hours! Saturday Trevor and I stopped at Cabelas, and bought them both a hat and a t-shirt. They always want to wear Trevor's hats when they come over. After we picked them up, we took them to this yummy ice-cream parlor called Sub-zero. You get to choose the flavor of your ice cream and they make it right in front of you. They have a machine that freezes it and everything in a couple of minutes! Nobi and Trevor chose Mt dew flavor ice cream. Conner had Raspberry with sprinkles, and I opted for Cherry with almonds! While we were waiting for our ice cream, we played games in the arcade there. Afterwards it was a quick visit to Grandmas, and then to our house to play rockband before they had to leave. The visit was too short!

The Crazyness Continues

Two trips to Colorado this weekend with two dogs, snow, and throw in a baptism... This girl is tired! Thankfully there will be no more road trips until Easter, and it will be fairly short.

Crazy Weekend!!

Let me just say that this weekend was too short for all the things we did! Fridays are Trevor's and my date nights. After work, we went to dinner at Wingers, the food was not so great, but I was happy to be on a nice date. After dinner we decided to go and walk around the University Mall in Orem. I really wanted a new purse, and I saw one that was so cute at Macy's but it was $150.00!! If I was single, I would have bought it, but not anymore. I quickly forgot about buying a purse because Trevor and I decided to get new cell phones. Our contract with AT&T was up on Friday so we went to T-mobile, and got new sidekicks! Let me just say, I can't figure the thing out! It's totally cool looking and seems to be fun, but I don't know how to use it. We went home and played with our phones until the wee hours of the morning, and then went to bed. Saturday, Trevor and I went to my little brother's wrestling match in PG at nine in the morning, then we went back to the Univ Mall. We set out to get cases for the new phones, and came up empty handed. Our phones are so big they did not fit anything we found. I got some yummy smelling soaps and lotion at Bath and Body Works, and a couple shirts from down east. Trevor and I then took a drive to Layton, to look at a pistol that I saw on KSL. He really wanted a .45 for our concealed permit, so we found one and went to look at it. On the way home I decided to drive, so Trevor could play with his phone, and instead of going home I drove us to Park City! YAY for the outlets! I went to the Nike store and bought a super cute new pair of running shoes. What a deal too! Then to the Old Navy where I got a super cute shirt for $4.00! That was all we bought, but it was a nice little sidetrack, the shops were so busy we did not really go to any of them. It was such a nice day. Sunday morning, we got up at 6:00 and drove to Colorado to drop Trevor off at his brothers house so he could help work for a couple weeks. My friend Kristen came along so that I did not have to make the drive home alone. What a LONG day! When I got home, I went and saw my nephews for just a minute, they came into town from Oklahoma for spring break and I wanted to say hi before they left.
I was so tired by the time I got home last night I crashed on the couch with the lights and tv on! And, I did not even set my alarm! So, I was a little late for work today.
It was a crazy weekend!! Next weekend will be even crazier!!

Trevor's Tile

Trevor has been Helping his Sister and Brother in law for the last 5 weeks build their basement bathroom. He has been spending almost all his nights and all of his weekends over there. Trevor and Adam started with the framing, and then the plumbing, and then more plumbing, and more plumbing. Finally, Trevor got to start laying tile Monday. Saturday and Sunday he put in a good 12+ hours, so Even though he is home from Washington, I am still living the "single life" until about 11:00 at night... He has done an amazing job on the tile, and I am a very proud wife.

Thursday's Gain, is Friday's Pain

I have been steadily working out this week after work, and so far it has been pretty good. I have not steadily worked out in quite some time, so I have been experiencing the pain of sore muscles the next morning. I am not sure what I did yesterday, but I could not sleep last night becuase my shoulders and upper back and arms hurt so bad. It was really sad, I woke up at 12:30 and had to take a pain pill. Today, I could not get ready for work cause I can't lift my arms higher than my chest!! It's hurt a little all week, but finall after a weeks worth of hard work, I am a vegitable!! I have not dared step on a scale this week, I will wait until next week.
Trevor and I have been eating super good this week. Last night I made cabbage wraps. You can check out my other blog for the recipe. I have been eating salads, and grilled chicken. And lots of fruit for breakfast. I feel so much better this week. I even cut WAY back on my sodas. I have only had two this week instead of my one a day thing I had going on. Admist the headaches, I still feel pretty good.

Phone Number Funny

As of March first we now have to dial the full ten digit telephone number anywhere in Utah to make a call. I am still trying to get the hang of it. This video was talked about on the radio morning show I listen to. I think it is hilarious!
Enjoy...
