The recipe has only Three ingredients so it was practically full proof! You take:
1 c. Butter
1/2 c. Sugar
2 c. Flour
Preheat oven to 375. In a medium bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Beat in sugar until completely combined. Scraping the sides of the bowl, add the flour. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Press your thumb into ball and make imprint. Bake 10-12 min (i only did 9). Set on cooling rack and cool.
After the cookies are cool, you can dress them up as you like. I added some jam to a few of them. On others I put vanilla frosting with a bit of vanilla sprinkled on top. If you have any Hershey kisses, press those into the cookies while they are still hot, that way the bottom of the kiss melts to the cookie and does not slip off.

ReplyDeleteby the way I made them today. i think daniel may have been in shock. I hate baking... but since you said they were easy.... oh and some were huge, lol. but they were sooo yummmm. thanks
